Nine-time winner of Pollstar Magazine's award for 'Best Outdoor Music Venue' and named as one of the 'Best Outdoor Concert Venues in America' by ConcertBoom, Gorge Amphitheatre is a 27,500-capacity venue situated in George, Washington. Initially, the scenic 3,000-capacity venue was named Champs de Brionne and was owned, along with its adjoining winery, by Dr. Vincent Bryan and Carol Bryan. The venue opened in 1986 and by 1993, it had expanded to accommodate 19,000, and since then it has grown to be one of the country’s most popular outdoor music venues.

Not only is The Gorge known for drawing some of the biggest artists in the music industry, but it has also held a large number of popular music festivals, including  Area Festival, Creation Festival, Dave Matthews Band Caravan, H.O.R.D.E. Festival, Honda Civic Tour, Identity Festival, Lilith Fair, Lollapalooza, Ozzfest, Paradiso Festival, Rock the Bells Festival, Sasquatch! Music Festival, Uproar Festival, Vans Warped Tour, Pain in the Grass, and Watershed Festival. It is a mainstay for many artists, including world-famous jam-band Phish, who have played at the venue 22 times!
