Arcade Fire are based in Canada and began their incredible career together in 2001. Friends Win Butler and Josh Deu created the band and their debut album was released in 2004. This initial music release was critically acclaimed by new fans and music enthusiasts, firmly placing the band on the indie-rock music scene. Since this initial success the band have released further successful albums, including Neon Bible, and  have won numerous awards (a Grammy for Album of the Year in 2011 and the Brit Award for Best International Album in the same year).
