2025 Year in review! Gorge Amphitheatre 2025 highlights!

Gorge Amphitheatre 2025 highlights

Gorge Amphitheatre has been the premier live performance destination since its grand opening in 1986. This top tier venue has been long considered one of the best outdoor concert venues out there, welcoming thousands of people to the hottest shows every year. It’s so popular that a whopping 400,000 people attended concerts at the venue in 2013. Ever since opening its doors, Gorge Amphitheatre has captured the hearts and minds of both locals and tourists. In fact, it is a nine-time winner of Pollstar Magazine’s prestigious award for ‘Best Outdoor Music Venue’ and was voted as one of the ‘Best Outdoor Concert Venues in America’ by ConcertBoom. Located near the Columbia River in Central Washington, nine miles west of George, Gorge Amphitheatre has an impressive capacity of 27,500. Set amongst the stunning grounds, the famous stage welcomes everything from rock and pop right through to country and techno. With a huge seating capacity, world class views, and top notch facilities, it’s no wonder major artists like Jason Aldean have chosen to perform at the Gorge Amphitheatre this year.

Summer filled with festivals!

The venue kicked off the year in style with the tenth anniversary of Outlaw Music Festival. By popular demand, the festival returned to the George stomping grounds with country legends, including Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Billy Strings & Lake Street Dive. They pulled out all the stops this year… Red Clay Strays and Sheryl Crow even made an appearance! Next up was Beyond Wonderland. The dreamy festival returned to the Gorge Amphitheatre for two unforgettable days. “When day breaks in Wonderland, a curious cast of characters emerges, and fantastical animals of all shapes and sizes run wild. In this place, beyond our imaginations, colors shine brighter, smiles are wider, and the secrets of Wonderland come to light.” Beyond Wonderland was overflowing with vibrant visuals and interactive experiences. Festivalgoers had a wild time making their way through the different themed stages, such as Queen’s Valley (the main stage), Caterpillar’s Garden, Cheshire Woods, Mad Hatter’s Castle and the Looking Glass. Saturday night (June 21) saw main EDM players like Zomboy, Jackie Hollander, Bassrush Experience take to the stage. Meanwhile, Sunday (June 22) brought electronic music’s finest including Alex Wann, DJ Snake, and Barely Alive.

August was a huge month for the Gorge Amphitheatre! The Watershed Festival returned to the stomping grounds from August 1-3. Huge country stars took over the stage. On Friday, Jason Aldean headlined alongside Nate Smith, and Ian Munsick. Saturday was just as epic. “Drunk on a Plane” hitmaker Dierks Bentley led the lineup with Zach Top, Sawyer Brown, Chase Matthew, and Dee Jay Silver, just to name a few! The star-studded lineup on Sunday included headliner Bailey Zimmerman, Tyler Hubbard, and Jackson Dean. “When shedders weren’t singing along to their favorite music, they were seen socializing, playing yard games, chowing down, and enjoying the spectacular view that’s unique to The Gorge,” cheers Backseat Mafia. The month also welcomed Heart on August 8 and Tedeschi Trucks Band on August 9. “Every generation has been showing up for the entirely live experience we bring to the stage. Covering everything from big rock energy to those intimate romantic songs we love, I like to say a Heart show is fun for the whole family” said guitarist Nancy Wilson. The girl group grungers brought the Heart’s Royal Flush 2025 Tour. The following day, the Grammy Award-winning band led by the couple Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks rocked the stage with the highest-charting record “Made Up Mind.” It was mind-blowing.

The Watershed wasn’t the only festival to take the George by storm in August. The stomping grounds also hosted the iconic Bass Canyon Festival from 15-17 August, and three nights with the Grammy-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Dave Matthews Band from 29-31 August. Bass Canyon Festival saw thousands of bassheads rave to their favorite artists. This year featured heavyweights Adventure Club, SVDDEN Death, Wooli, and Space Laces, genre disrupters Tape B, Of The Trees, and Hedex, as well as rising stars like ALLEYCVT, HOL!, Lumasi, Skellytn, Wonkywilla, and many more.

2025 wrapped up in September with Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts on 5 September. The old school rockers were a vibe. The Love Earth World Tour brought Neil Young’s latest and greatest hits. Fans are still raving about the live performances of “Heart of Gold,” “Harvest Moon,” and Neil Young’s brand new single with the Chrome Hearts “Big Change.”

One of the worlds most beautiful venues

There’s nothing like experiencing your favorite artist perform live at the Gorge Amphitheatre. “The Gorge Amphitheater is without a doubt one of the most beautiful venues out there,” says one happy concertgoer. While another says, “Neither one of us had been there before and we were blown away by the beauty. The views were spectacular! The venue is nice and clean and the whole experience was great. And the concert was amazing!” It’s hard to experience The Gorge without soaking in the entire atmosphere. “This place is super cool! I mean absolutely amazing! Stunning background to an amazing concert!” says a recent fan. While another praises, “A truly breathtaking view coupled with a unique and very beautiful natural amphitheatre.”
