Above & Beyond is a prolific electronic music group from London. The trio has consistently been ranked among the top DJs in the world. The group emerged in 2000 and released their first single, “Volume One.” The track immediately resonated well with listeners and various dance clubs, prompting major record labels' attention. In 2006, Above & Beyond dropped their debut album, Tri-State. The record, which spawned singles “Air for Life,” “Alone Tonight,” and “Can’t Sleep,” received wide critical acclaim from fans and critics. The same year, “Air For Life” was nominated for Best Progressive House/Trance Track and won Best Underground Dance Track at the International Dance Music Awards. The group later released a remix of Chakra’s “Home.” The single, aired on BBC Radio 1, peaked at number 1 on the U.K. Club charts. Above & Beyond once again won Best Underground Dance Track for the remixed single at the c.
In 2015, the group dropped their highest-charting effort to date, We Are All We Need. The record dominated Top Dance/Electronic Albums and peaked at number 5 on the Independent Albums chart. The album’s title track, “We’re All We Need,” featuring Zoe Johnston, was nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 2016 Grammy Awards. In the same year, Above & Beyond received three International Dance Music Awards nominations.
